Senate Select Committee on Redistricting Holding Joint Hearing in Dallas on Monday (9/20)
Hearing will provide an opportunity for public testimony
DALLAS—On Monday, September 20, 2010, the Senate Select Committee on Redistricting will hold a joint hearing with subcommittees of the House Committee on Redistricting and the House Committee on Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public testimony.
State Senator Florence Shapiro (District 8) encourages all her constituents who want their voices heard to attend this important hearing.
Monday’s hearing will be held at the George Allen Courthouse in Dallas.

*Parking Information: The parking garage entrance is on the North side of Commerce St., across the street from the Allen Courthouse. All spaces are paid parking. If you are heading west on Elm St., there is another garage entrance; it is on the south side of the street just before you get to the Records Building. There are some surface lot parking spaces, but there you will be charged in 15-minute intervals. There is also an all-day lot behind the School Book Depository Building (now called the County Administration Building); parking is $4.00 for the entire day.
